Vieja with the use of a well located in the middle of the community. Viña Vieja is a small rural community, home to around ninety families, in the southwest region of Peru. In 2007, two consecutive earthquakes struck Viña Vieja and caused severe structural damage in the community. EWB UTSA started the project in 2011 and we are now at the final implementation stage.We need to trench the pathway and lay down about 3.5 miles of PVC and steel pipe along the main road.Finalize the design of the submersible and booster pumps. Finalize the piping network design along with an outlet to each home.
