Events coming up, mark your calendars!! We are having a barbecue Thursday, October 13 by the Engineering Building. We are currently taking volunteers for this event so if you are interested you can fill in your schedule availability on http://www.doodle.com/d8ai7x58f43ug4s8 or come to our general meeting for more information. We are also planning our assessment trip to Vina Vieja, Peru to be held in December and the implementation trip next summer and if you want to help with the planning for the assessment trip you can come to our Thursday assessment meetings.

Events coming up in March, mark your calendars!!
First off, we have a fundraiser at Chili's off I-10 and De Zavala. Just bring a coupon with you and 10% of your bill gets donated to us at EWB-UTSA for our project in Vina Vieja, Peru.
Next, the annual Chaskis run hosted by Texas Partners of the Americas is coming up on March 5th. All proceeds go to Vina Vieja, Peru also.

We are still working on design of a pump and distribution system for the community. Everything is moving along but we still need finicial support to get back to Peru and help out this wonderful community. So, please support us if you are able. Hope everyone is doing well now that the semester is in full steam! A lot of great news going on for EWB-UTSA. We will be giving a presentation at the Texas Partners of the Americas annual meeting on Oct 9th. We will also be giving a presentation to the advisory board council for the college of engineering at UTSA on Oct 12th. We are excited about these oppurtunities. Also, we have established a new design/project team. This will help to distribute our work and get our project moving even faster! Interested in joining? Click HERE. More to come soon. Be sure to check out our information booth during Roadrunner days! We will be attending several days this next week to provide information about our chapter and project. Also, first day of classes is coming up this Wednesday the 25th.
In other news: information updated on our contact page. Click HERE to check it out! Our mentors and faculty are now highlighted for their involvement. Also, we are currently setting up a PayPal account for easy online and recurring donations to our project! This feature should be on the donations and sponsors page shortly. Be sure to check out our Meetings and Events page too for easy syncing of your Google Calendar with our events! Also, added a new picture viewer using CoolIris. It's a fun and fast way to check out pictures! Be sure to give it a look on the pictures tab.

Two new fundraising events have been posted! Check out the Meetings and Events Page HERE for more. Also, new buttons updated on events page to automatically update google calendar with our events. Keep up to date even easier with what is going on with EWB-UTSA!! Also, there is now a sign-up sheet available if you wish to volunteer for any of these fundraising events. We need all the help we can get. Keep checking back for more updates! As a reminder, our first meeting of the Fall 2010 semester will be on September 7th at 5pm.

EWB-UTSA has recently finished their first assessment trip! Thanks to all who made this a possibility. It was an amazing success and we gained an incredible amount of information. We are looking forward to continuing this project. We are still looking for more student members, all majors are accepted!!
