Water / Sanitation
The first focus of this project will to be to provide a clean drinking water source to the community of 110 families. The community has already put forth matching effort with us, and has acquired rights to a water well in the area. In the near future we will be designing a water distribution system for the community.
We will also be building proper sanitation and wastewater facilities for the community to ensure a clean and sanitary water source as well as improve their overall quality of life.

Rebuilding Homes
The majority of the housing structures in the community were badly damaged by two earthquakes in 2007. Most of the community are now living in tents instead of houses. Our focus for this part of the project will be to design, construct, and teach the community on seismic resistant structures. We will be constructing a few homes in the community as training demonstrations, afterwards the community will be able to continue the construction efforts and be safe from further seismic events.
Possible Bridges
We will continue to assess the need for bridges in the area. However, many of the bridges nearby are just logs across the gaps. We would like to provide solid and safe bridge structures for the community.
